Our Story: Serving Providence Since 1985
Founded in 1985, Camp Street Community Ministries has spent more than four decades providing practical assistance and compassionate care to neighbors in need.
From its beginnings as a community food pantry, Camp Street has grown through the dedication of volunteers, donors, and community partners who believe that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and support.
Camp Street is special because it brings people together across religious, racial, and cultural differences. Churches, synagogues, and community members from different backgrounds have worked together around a shared purpose: serving neighbors in need.
Today, Camp Street continues that legacy through its food pantry, free clothing ministry, and community partnerships.
